Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta directed all officers to ensure immediate and effective redressal of every complaint received in Samadhan Camps, emphasizing that the initiative aims to provide single-window, time-bound solutions to citizens’ grievances. He informed that, as per the directions of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Samadhan Camps are being organized every Monday and Thursday from 10 AM to 12 noon at district and sub-divisional headquarters. The administration is continuously reviewing complaint disposal to ensure permanent and satisfactory resolution.
To further strengthen the grievance redressal mechanism, a dedicated calling cell has been established, which interacts with citizens to collect feedback regarding the resolution of their complaints. The Deputy Commissioner instructed officers to engage directly with complainants, keep them informed about the action taken, and ensure proper documentation and uploading of records. He stressed that pending cases must be resolved on priority with a serious and accountable approach.
He informed that Samadhan Camps were organized today at the district headquarters and Sampla subdivision, where citizens’ grievances were heard and necessary directions were issued. At the district headquarters, City Magistrate Ankit Kumar and District Development & Panchayat Officer Rajpal Chahal heard complaints, while in Sampla, SDM Ankita Panwar personally attended the camp. In a notable case, Yogita, a resident of Kahanour village, expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner and the district administration for facilitating her benefit under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. She shared that she became the first woman beneficiary in her village, and her household electricity bill has now reduced to zero. She also received the government subsidy, enabling her to repay the loan taken for installing the system. The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that the administration is committed to ensuring responsive governance and citizen satisfaction through effective grievance redressal mechanisms.
