Haryana Gramin Bank Playing Key Role in Extending Banking Services to Rural and Marginalized Sections : DC Sachin Gupta
Indiknow, Rohtak. Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta stated that Haryana Gramin Bank is playing a significant role in extending banking services to rural and marginalized sections and ensuring that the benefits of various government schemes reach the common people effectively. He was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the new building of the Regional Office of Haryana Gramin Bank in Rohtak. Chairman of the bank, Sumant Kumar, was also present on the occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the bank in promoting financial inclusion and expanding banking services to underserved sections of society. He emphasized that accessible banking services are crucial for empowering rural communities and strengthening the overall economic framework.
Chairman Sumant Kumar highlighted the bank’s key achievements and reiterated its commitment to empowering the most deprived sections of society. He informed that the bank is actively working towards providing doorstep banking services and facilitating enrollment under various social security schemes. Senior officials including the General Manager, Regional Manager, members of Self Help Groups, bank staff, and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
