Tecumseh’s CSR Initiative: Project - Kaushal Setu “A collaborative initiative to Bridge Education and Industry Through Skills”

Sanghi(Rohtak)|Tecumseh, Global CEO Ricardo Maciel and COO Joao Dobner inaugurated “Kaushal Setu” at CMRA Government Polytechnic, in collaboration with United Way of Delhi. The initiative brings advanced manufacturing technology, practical learning and industry exposure closer to students, to equip them with the technical capabilities, problemsolving mindset and workplace readiness to build careers in a rapidly changing industrial landscape. The inauguration of Kaushal Setu marked commissioning of new advanced infrastructure, a Robot Welding Cell and CNC VMC. This marked the beginning of a long-term industry–academia partnership focused on building skills, confidence and career opportunities for young talent Inspiring Students to Engineer Solutions for the Future Addressing the students, Ricardo Maciel, Chief Executive Officer, Tecumseh spoke about Tecumseh’s vision and mission and shared his own journey into engineering and reflected on how his own aspirations evolved. Encouraging the students, he said that engineering is a wonderful career and engineers have an important role in moving the technology frontier forward, breaking barriers and paradigms, and developing solutions that are affordable and accessible to everyone.

Reflecting on the purpose of Kaushal Setu, Ricardo emphasized that the initiative is “not only for today, but about tomorrow” - about developing capabilities, qualities of a problem solver, and encountering opportunities in future careers. He also acknowledged the Tecumseh alumni present at the event and expressed the organizational vision and the opportunities on the global platform Sharing his appreciation for the warmth, traditions and culture he experienced during his visit in India, Ricardo said he looked forward to returning and seeing how the students and Kaushal Setu continue to grow.

MDU–KUK Collaborative Seminar on Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam Highlights Women’s Legislative Empowerment
